First time in this restaurant but not the last!Our waitress (Annie) immediately greeted us with a broad smile; his service was excellent from start to finish. Our dishes were very good and above all "very hot"; a plus in restoration nowadays ...Nice atmosphere with soft light offered by the decor of a building more than a century old.

I was severe and I put 4 stars! Everything is done in the kitchen. Almost everything is fresh! I would have given 4.5 stars or more if possible. Large plates. Bring your own wine. Here is the missing star, noisy room, scallop poorly cleaned and rare beef tenderloin, not rare, overcooked, rice overcooked too and lobster head on the plate.I liked and I will return!

Appetizers well executed and exquisite meat! On the other hand it is bad, the accompaniments are atrocious: Turnip / Carrot boiled (very bland), pale fries that taste the fat, for which I was suggested "ketchup or mayo", and a spring salad with a vinaigrette that seems to me to be the Kraft Cucumber 1992. In addition, my wife tasted its seafood, until the last piece that had obviously spent 8 months too much in the freezer ... We were offered a discount equivalent to 5% of the invoice. Bad.The place is warm, like the service, but the execrable accompaniments, considering the price of the dishes, lower the note. I already feel generous to 2 stars ... It surprises me that this type of restaurant has survived the gastronomic revival, but especially that it has such a good rating on the web. It's not really worth it. There are MUCH better restaurants than this one in Trois-Rivières.
